Dr. Tony Walko DC, MSN, APRN, AGNP-C, AAHIVS (Chief Executive Officer)
Once the pandemic began, while practicing in NYC, Dr. Walko saw first hand how the healthcare disparities were growing. An alarming rise in nationwide rates of drug abuse, homelessness, and rates of infectious diseases, specifically HIV/Hepatitis C began to occur during this time period. The doctors then set on a new mission to focus their time and energy to take care of the people in need here in the US by founding an affordable healthcare option for all that would utilize telemedicine services to help reach those with reduced access to healthcare.
Dr. Walko took his education further to provide his patients with the best care possible. In 2023, he became certified by the American Academy of HIV Medicine as a HIV specialist.
Dr. Ajay Desai DO (Medical Director)
After creating the Healthcare Unity Group, Dr. Walko and Dr. Minuski brought Dr. Ajay Desai on board as the treating provider due to his background and knowledge in HIV/Hepatitis C prevention and treatment. Dr. Desai is driven and motivated to help the Healthcare Unity Group make change in communities all around the United States by providing comprehensive and inclusive care to all of our patients.
Dr. Rich Minuski, DC RN (Chief Operations Officer)
Dr Minuski has always had a strong passion for service work. It was during one of his medical service trips to Haiti where he realized he wanted to dedicate his life to helping others both domestically and abroad.
